About KinTees.com |
KinTees.com is the brainchild of three Corcoran brothers, who were all raised just south of Boston. Two of the brothers are mad Sox and Pats fans, while the third is a tech geek. Strangely enough, the tech geek brother is responsible for the web site, while the other two are responsible for designing, developing, and printing the shirts for the best fans in the world: Boston fans.
Throughout the site, you will notice the liberal use of the term 'kin-'. The youngest brother and his friend Bill (now Dr. Wilhelm von Stebbins) began using this term in the early 1990s as a substitute for the word 'fucking', which gained traction as a common adjective, adverb, and comma among the 18-30 year old set at that time. It isn't cursing: it's celebration. The brothers are, from oldest to youngest:
Sean: The eldest brother in the Corcoran clan, Sean is a former company man who now splits his time between raising his two lovely daughters, tending bar, and obsessing about the Red Sox,Patriots, and Munster rugby. He is married to a beautiful physical therapist and speaks "hahd caw bawstuhn".

(Sean on Right)
Seamus: The second youngest brother, Seamus has been successfully working in the IT industry for almost a decade. Prior to his eminent geekdom, Seamus worked in numerous blue collar jobs, including gunslinging in Arizona. Nevertheless, he is so ignorant about Beantown sports that, upon attending a Sox game in 2004, he didn't know the difference between David Ortiz and Manny Ramirez. Of course, that applies to the junior senator from Massachusetts, too. Seamus is attempting to increase the diversity of the family by marrying a lovely Jewish woman, and speaks with the sort of accent that Matt Damon and Ben Affleck were shooting for in "Good Will Hunting".
(Seamus on Left, Shane on Right) Shane: The youngest Corcoran brother, Shane is a captain in the United States Army stationed in Hawaii. Shane lost his heavy Boston accent in college. The only strange thing is that he went to Boston University, so we're still trying to figure that out. Like his older brother, he is dedicated to multiculturalism, and increased the diversity of the family by marrying a non-Irishwoman: a lovely Virginian whom he converted to Sox worship.
